UPDATE: Categories based on ELO

There will be 3 categories per gender based on your ELO rating. You can find your current ELO here

Women
Category 1: ELO 1000 and above
Category 2: ELO 500–1100
Category 3: ELO below 600

​

If your ELO is between 1000 and 1100, you can choose between Category 1 and Category 2.
If your ELO is between 500 and 600, you can choose between Category 2 and Category 3.

Men
Category 1: ELO 1600 and above
Category 2: ELO 1000–1700
Category 3: ELO below 1100

​

If your ELO is between 1600 and 1700, you can choose between Category 1 and Category 2.
If your ELO is between 1000 and 1100, you can choose between Category 2 and Category 3.

Categories 2 and 3 will be ranked and awarded after the qualifications.

​

The top 6 women and top 6 men of Category 1 will qualify for the finals.
 

Practical info

Qualifications: 14:00 – 18:00
Format: 30 boulders, 1000-point system

​​

Finals: 19:30
Format: No isolation, 3 boulders, 1 flash attempt per boulder, plus 9 additional attempts to use across all 3 boulders.

Explanation:
All finalists climb in the order of their qualification (6th goes first, 1st goes last). After their first attempt, they can watch the other finalists and decide whether to use another attempt on the same boulder or save their remaining attempts for the next ones.
If a climber skips their turn on a boulder, they cannot return to it later.

 

Prizes: Total prize value for the top 3 female and male climbers: €1,000
